A little bit about me 😊
My name is Kelli Johnson and I am a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, and Radiographer. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and love the challenges that ultrasound offers. My 30-year career has taken me all across the United States and into Canada. When I wasn’t scanning, my husband, Dave, and I were raising two beautiful children. When not tending to the kids, we were planting, pruning, and weeding our trees, shrubs, and perennials. In our spare time, you could find us swinging in our hammock chairs enjoying watching the native grasses blow in the wind.
After a tragic life event of losing my husband, my heart led me to Lincoln to be closer to our two children, Rylee and Brady, who are in college at UNL. Throughout my career, I’ve prided myself for being a continual learner. During the last couple of years, along with loads of research, reading and reevaluating, my passion grew towards the holistic model of healthcare, fueled in part by my daughter’s interest in the healing properties of herbs and my own experience with the Western medicine model that wasn’t meeting my needs in a positive way.
Back in July of 2024, after speaking with Pam Ryerse, a seed was planted. It started to sprout and has grown into the purchase of her company, Radiant Health Imaging, Inc. A mother/daughter venture was hatched and with our amazing team, we plan to continue Pam’s increadible legacy of caring for people offering thermography.
In addition, we are adding ultrasound and clinical herbalism services to provide our clients with early prevention imaging and help assist them with their overall healthcare goals. Rylee and I have chosen the name Acacia Wellness as the Acacia tree has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of years, it represents strength, adaptability and resilience. Lastly, it’s known for its ability to survive in the most challenging of conditions.
